The Nature Culture

Fellowship Program

The Nature Culture Fellowship Program (NCF) brought together 65 Fellows from 53 countries to explore the power of culture to drive systemic change.

Through a 6-month Learning Journey and community projects, Fellows engaged with nature, art, and story to reconnect with the web of life.

Hearth Gatherings

Hearth Gatherings convene organizations and individuals working on cultural change around the world to collaborate in shifting the narrative of separation and superiority to connection and interdependence with the web of life.

Kinship’s first Hearth gathering in 2020 convened global leaders in biodiversity, climate, communications, philanthropy, policy and science.

The Artist Collective

The Artist Collective will engage an inaugural cohort of artists across the world to interpret the power of kinship across diverse media.

Joining in Hearth Gatherings, Fellowships and other projects, artists are invited to create multimedia expressions infusing culture with art.

The Science of Life

Our Global Landscape Review and Global Literature Review amplify partnerships, new science and deepening perspectives on the interconnectedness of life.

At the same time, we track, share and elevate story and art as vital drivers of change. This evolving body of research will be shared across our network and select platforms.

The Language of Life

Most of us speak in a manner that is saturated with technological and industrial words. In order to create lasting change we must shift to language that reflects and affirms our vital connection with all life.

The language of life is an open source collaboration to create a global library of words, phrases, symbols and concepts for deepening our connection with all of life.
