The Murmuration Community of Practice (MCP), convened by Kinship and IUCN CEESP, creates a space to explore imagined futures, challenge systems of power, and test the role of story, culture, and art in shaping change.
Inspired by the way starlings move as one through small, responsive acts, MCP nurtures a network of change-makers whose actions—rooted in care, reciprocity, and shared learning—ripple outward to influence broader systems and communities.
About the Program:
The Murmuration Community of Practice is an online, shared practice space where participants experiment with collective leadership, skills shares, co-creation and relational responsibility. Through bi-monthly gatherings participants develop the internal and relational capacities needed to transform their work, organizations, and communities.
Overview of Sessions
The murmuration is held 1-2 times per month where we: practice deep listening to the human and more than human world, engage in storytelling workshops, share evolving projects and ideas, connect with elders and thought leaders.
Each participant is invited to:
Share what they are curious about, grieving, imagining, or nurturing
Offer embodiment practices, webinars, experiments, skill-shares, questions, and ceremonies
Engage with others in ways that feel sustainable and life-giving
Take practical insights back into their own communities, organizations, and lives
