The

Nature Culture

Fellowship Program

The Nature Culture Fellowship brings together global intergenerational change-makers. Together, we explore how story, art, ancestral knowledge, and spiritual connection drive transformative change through culture.

Throughout the Learning Journey, participants engage in storytelling, embodiment practices, ceremony, values-based reflection, and dialogue to address systemic challenges and heal our separation from nature and each other.

Fellows receive financial support and access to mentors to design and implement community-based projects.

Nature Culture Fellowship Program?

What is the

A Three Phase Learning Journey

The Intergenerational Cultural Fellowship unfolds across three transformative phases, guiding Fellows from inner reflection to community-rooted action.

Fellows begin by grounding in the power story and culture. We explore systems of oppression and reconnect with living systems. Through remembrance, collective grief work, and rituals of reckoning and renewal, they reflect on the relationship dynamics between humans and the more-than-human, and consider what must be released to move forward.

Phase 1: Tending the Soil

Phase 2: World of Possibilities

Fellows enter a space of emergence through reciprocal listening with nature and each other. Imagination and creativity are sparked as project ideas begin to take shape with peer feedback, collaboration, and co-creation.

Phase 3: Seeding Regenerative Futures

With mentorship and ongoing support, Fellows bring their projects to life—experimenting, adapting, and documenting cultural actions within their communities. The journey culminates in a collective celebration, where Fellows share their offerings, reflections, and visions for regenerative futures.

Facets of the Fellowship

  • Culture & Creativity: This program explores how cultural and creative tools — from music and movement to ceremony and visual storytelling —  shift mindsets, spark collective change, and inform policy shifts.

  • Mystery & Experimentation: This journey is for those willing to sit with uncertainty, lead with curiosity, unlearn old patterns, and embrace experimentation. Together, we’ll break out of our silos and open ourselves to expansive ways of knowing and being.

  • Learning from Traditional Wisdom and Social Science:  This Fellowship centers traditional wisdom, Indigenous knowledge, social science, and creative expression as vital paths to understanding and action.

What we’re hearing…

  • Thank you for curating such a sacred space. This is not just a fellowship, it an answer to the questions I could not answer for long time. I carry it in my spirit and work forward with renewed clarity.

    Macdonald Khozomba (Malawi)

  • I’m truly grateful for the care, intention, and thoughtfulness behind this Fellowship. It’s more than a learning space—it’s a community that inspires growth, empathy, and courage. Your work is planting seeds of change that will continue to grow beyond these sessions.

    Zabihullah Rahmani (Afghanistan)

  • I was deeply moved by the radical tenderness and vulnerability shared in the sessions. It surprised me how quickly a sense of trust and connection emerged across distances, and how much strength there is in pausing together to grieve, imagine, and dream beyond our current realities.

    Laura Zarta (Colombia)

  • Deep awe for the wisdom shared, grief for what’s been lost, and moments of peace in feeling seen and connected. At times, discomfort arises when touching painful truths, but it is softened by hope and the collective strength of this healing journey.

    Kwabena Gyapong (Ghana)
